Sequence 2 is the straight in thrust, directed toward the abdominal cavity. Note the downward trapping motion
employed by the defender as he sets up the countering "knuckle" strike to the attacker's biceps pressure point. For some, it is effective to simply "punch" the same target area. If done
properly, striking this pressure point will neutralize opponent's right arm. This technique is also a nice lead in to many of the techniques which follow.
